Wonderfull Cottage Rental for the week! Highly recommend

We spent a week at this amazing property with 2 adults and 4 children. It was perfect for what we needed. From the second we walked in we felt as if it were an oasis. We stayed in a cottage home called Le Reve Charmant. This particular property is decorated with luxury in mind, from the linens to the dining room and every detail is thought about and planned for, including beach toys, chairs, umbrella and a wagon to use. Communication with the owner and property management team was very easy. The golf cart was a family favorite as it made getting around the property easy and fun.
The property itself had perfect choices for daily activity. The covered pool was great when we needed a break from the sun. The rental items at the beach worked out well (although go head and sit they will come to you- they aren’t always on property and we stood waiting for awhile when it wasn’t necessary). Water-sports were less than a 5 minute drive at the Beach Club and they were affordable and friendly! We even got to have a drink at the beach club after and enjoy their beach and pool for a little.
What we loved was we were off the “main path” and yet a short drive from everything. We would HIGHLY recommend this property for anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing vacation. My kids wanted me to add: they loved all the extra touches like the racquets and toys and they loved how it smelled:) Thank You for a great week at the beach!

Our family has been coming to Martinique for many years. This was our second year to stay at Le Reve Charmant and will DEFINITELY stay here again—our favorite cottage! We loved all of the updates and special touches added since last year! Martinique is a great place to stay, and Le Reve Charmant makes it feel like home!

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Martinique on the Gulf. The home we stayed in was perfect for us and very clean.We would definitely recommend this resort to everyone! The resort itself is beautiful and the staff is very friendly! We will definitely be back next year!

This is our second year to stay in a Martinique on the Gulf cottage and it was once again wonderful. The unit was very clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. The only negatives I have are; the part of the coffee maker that holds k-cups was nowhere to be found. :( The only other thing was the inability to adjust the fans. We all found that we were warm at night and wished we could have tried adjusting the fan speed or that there was a box fan to cool things off more. We found that sleeping at night we were warmer than we would have liked. These two things would NOT keep us from staying again though.

Le Reve Charmant was a great place to stay for our trip, and Martinique is overall one of our very favorite places to be. We very much enjoyed this “Charming Dream”. The owners have lovingly decorated and equipped this property for beauty and convenience. Everything is very fresh, clean and new looking, and we found all of the furnishings to be very comfortable. It is beautiful inside and out. The golf cart is an amazing convenience and fun as well, and it runs perfectly. The TVs, internet, and all of the other electronic conveniences are very well thought out and work perfectly. The owners have put a lot of thought into making sure visitors have chargers, kitchen appliances, storage bins, and other items that make any stay stress free. The maintenance, security, and admin workers are all extremely courteous, helpful, and aggressive to handle any issue. Overall, 5+ stars. We will be back again soon!

We had a great stay at Le Reve Charmant. It is beautiful cottage house that was immaculately clean and included all the amenities needed for our 8 days!
The Martinique staff was great at communicating with us and checked during our stay.
This was our families 23 visit to Martinique on the Gulf but the first stay at! I would definitely book again. Highly recommended!

I hesitated to submit this review, but couldn’t keep the secret to myself any longer! This was probably one of the best rentals we have ever stayed in! Everything was truly perfect, from the upscale linens, gorgeous decor, kitchen supplies and location on the property. Comfortable and very clean. Seamless check-in and checkout procedure. Not one issue during our stay. Golf cart was a life saver and our (grownup) kids loved the flexibility of coming down to the beach whenever they wanted. We hated to leave but we will be returning to Martinique for our next beach vacation for sure. Peaceful, relaxing and just what our family needed.

This home was lovely. You would never know this was a rental. The furnishings were awesome. The layout was so nice. To have a golf cart was so much fun. Loved long walks on the beach and spent time in both pools and hot tubs We will definitely return.

The rental was super cute and well stocked. The beds were soooo fantastically comfortable. The resort was as described. Pool was great, beach was great, golf cart was so helpful.
This was our first time in the south and we are from Kansas. Was very surprised by the amount of critters. We had a snake in our laundry closet welcome us on our first day ��, frogs in the house, tons of mosquitoes, big flying ants, and tons of sweet ants in the bathroom. I almost wonder if there was some sort of hole in our unit bc our neighbors/friends didn’t have the same experience. Overall though, great vacation and great place to stay.

We had the house checked and didn't find any holes, so we're sure that someone prior to your stay left the door to the back patio open for a while. We love that Martinique is surrounded by nature, but please know that creatures inside the houses is not the norm, even in the South. We would love for you to come visit us again.

If you're looking for tranquility and style...with a healthy helping of Southern charm, then look no further! Bidding farewell to Michigan's icy grasp, our arrival in Gulf Shores was a warm and welcome respite indeed. Not only are the accommodations first-rate, but the cottage's location, nestled within beautiful Martinique, provided a family-friendly getaway with all the bells and whistles -- hot tub, pool and beach...oh my! Stellar on-beach, water-view dining and entertainment experiences are only a brief stroll on the beach away. Wholeheartedly recommend this venue, and can't wait to book it again!
