Martinique is beautiful with all the flowers and foliage. The condo was pretty and well furnished. Beds were very comfortable. Loved the location and was surprised at such a great gulf water view from the first floor. Patio was on the ground and a few steps to the pier walk over to the water.

A Wonderful Getaway

My husband, daughter, granddaughter and I spent New Years at Martinique and had a lovely stay. Staff so very friendly and helpful. Facility was clean. Only downer was the indoor pool was closed for refurbishing, but it has to be done sometime!

Us and another couple spent a week here. Loved the unit. Floor plan great for two couples. Very comfortable. Great view. 1st floor made it easy to walk out our back door to the beach. Staff was great to work with. Overall, it exceeded our expectations.

I love your resort. I have stayed at Martinique many times. Staying in January was a first for me. My favorite time to be Gulf Shores is May.

the view was great. we paid a higher price to stay where we good see the ocean. the condo itself, was nice,but needs some work and a deep clean. doors going into the building need to be situated as to where they stay open while hauling in luggage, groceries, etc. pool by beach was nice.

Been going to Martinique for the past 3 years and it has always been a memorable experience. This time was no different, except for the fact that TD Barry was nearby and the ocean got very rough. Mother nature, nothing you can do!!!

Our vacation rental was by far our very favorite place we’ve ever stayed in Gulf Shores. Our family has been coming to the area for 7 years now and we will never stay anywhere but Martinique from now on! The unit was lovely, very clean and spacious enough for a family of 4. We particularly loved the fact that the beach felt secluded and not crowded since it is next to the Bon Secour Wildlife Refuge. We will definitely return to this beautiful beach community in the years to come!

There was plenty of room for the whole family to have their space and be together as well. The view of the ocean is perfect and the setting is quiet and restful. We have loved it every time we have stayed here (three times in the last year).

Great roomy condo, decorated so cute and clean, warm and beachy! Love Martininque, nice place! steps to the boardwalk, view of the beach, a great spot!! So private, not your typical crowded beach condo, and quiet beaches, family friendly!

The view from the condo is beautiful! And its location on property is great! The Martinique property as a whole is kind of far, but with that you get privacy. We ran into a few issues in this condo with appliances: we had to contact the management company to come fix the On button of the dryer; it took me 3-4 times washing one load of dishes to get the soap dispenser in the dish washer to work properly (including having to stick my fingers in some gunk at the bottom to clear something out. Made me wonder just how clear our dishes were to begin with), a DVD was stuck on the master bedroom DVD player. I managed to get it out by unplugging the player from the wall. The TV was stuck on CNN and the remote wouldn't work to change it. My husband had to buy a universal remote, program it to that TV for us to use that TV. There were no batteries in a few of the TV remotes so we also had to furnish those (we took all these with us when we left). Lastly, the can opener malfunctions (which was not so awesome on Thanksgiving). Those kind of issues shouldn't happen for the price you pay to stay here. If they can get those issues fixed, we would stay in this condo again. The furniture was comfortable and cozy. One thing I advise though is typing up the WiFi information and placing it in a more visual spot for when people arrive. We had to hunt for it.

Condo perfect for small family

This was our second time staying at Martinique, but the first time we stayed in a condo. It was perfect for our family. We could walk straight from our living room or bedroom out to the patio, onto the grass, and be at the boardwalk within seconds, yet enjoy peace and quiet from the patio if desired. The view of the dunes in the wildlife refuge with the water in the distance was perfect. I enjoyed hearing the birds at dusk while I sat on the patio. We had a curtain rod broken and a slow draining shower in the master, but maintenance was there within minutes and fixed it. Never any problems with anything the entire stay. Everything was fresh, clean, and neat. The decor was nice with a touch of beach style accents. Everything we needed, or didn't need was supplied in the kitchen, and extra of towels and washcloths were supplied.
We will definitely be a "three-peat!"

We had a great stay. Martinique on the Gulf is an ideal place for families and is very laid back. The property was in great shape, and the atmosphere was fantastic. We will be back!
