RENTAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

All rental properties are individually owned. Some properties rent at a higher rate than is reflected on our website. Please feel free to call us with any questions – 855-658-6950. Rates Subject to Change Without Notice. No Refunds for Early Departure.

Martinique Online Reservations

Click through the pages on our website and choose your favorite condo. You can make your reservation on-line 24 hours a day. If you can’t decide which unit, call us at 1.855-858-6950 and we’ll help you find the one that’s just right for you and your family. Reservations cannot be booked online within 3 days of arrival.

Summer Season: Most units require weekly rentals, Saturday to Saturday or Sunday to Sunday. Please see description of individual units for rates and terms. 

Off Season: 3 night minimum.

Winter Season: Monthly rentals are available in certain units. Please see description of the unit you are interested in to see if the monthly rate is offered.

Confirmation

You will receive a confirmation letter after we receive your advance payment. Please contact us immediately if you find a discrepancy, otherwise it will be assumed correct. Please make sure we have your cell phone number on file for your arrival.

Properties are subject to change before check-in if necessary. We will make every effort to contact you before your arrival should this occur.

Rental Payment

We accept MasterCard, Visa and Discover debit and credit cards and American Express credit cards. Personal checks are accepted for monthly reservations.

Guests are responsible for payment of all nights reserved, regardless of your actual arrival and departure date. There are no refunds for late arrival or early departure. No changes to reservations within 30 days of arrival.

A non-refundable reservation processing fee is charged for all reservations. This fee and the advance rent payment are due within 3 days of making the reservation to avoid cancellation.

Weekly Rentals:

An initial booking deposit equal to 50% of booking charges is due at the time of booking. The balance of the booking charges is due 30 days prior to your Check-In Date. Your Credit Card on file will be charged for the balance. If you want to use a separate form of payment, you must contact us 7 days prior to due date to change the payment. 

At the time of booking in addition to your vacation cost, Renter must pay a Damage Waiver Fee at a non-refundable cost of $69.00.

Monthly Rentals: 

An initial booking deposit equal to the Refundable Security Deposit ($500, $700, $1000) is due at the time of booking. The 1st month’s rent is due 60 days prior to arrival and your Credit Card on file will be charged for the balance. If you want to use a separate form of payment, you must contact us 7 days prior to the due date to change the payment.   The 2nd month’s rent is due on the day of arrival, and all subsequent month’s rent is due 30 days prior to the start of the month. 

At the time of booking in addition to your vacation cost, Renter must pay a Damage Waiver Fee at a non-refundable cost of $69.00. This charge will be on each month.

 

Occupancy

Limited to actual sleeping capacity shown (includes children and babies). For your comfort, bunk beds and sofa beds are not recommended for adults.

Martinique will not rent to people under 25 years of age. The renter must closely and personally supervise all occupants of a property under the age of 25 years. Any reservation obtained under false pretenses will be subject to loss of rent and/or eviction. 

Check-in/Check-out

Check-in Time begins at 5:00 PM CST daily but is not guaranteed. Every effort is made to prepare units for check-in at 5:00 PM daily but may be delayed due to our commitment to provide a clean unit that has been carefully inspected.

Check-out Time is 9:00 AM CST daily. If check-out is later than 9:00 AM CST, guests will be charged a late checkout fee up to the current daily rate.

Each unit is individually owned. Renter accepts unit in “as is” condition. 

On the day of arrival, we will send a text message with the front door code. Once you receive this code you are good to check in. No need to stop by the office, you can go directly to your unit. The parking pass(es), exercise key, golf cart key (if applicable) will all be in the unit.

Parking

Parking is restricted to 2 vehicles per condo/house at $55 plus tax per vehicle. The first parking pass is already charged to your reservation. You may add additional passes to your reservation up to 24 hours before check in or purchase it directly from the front office. Due to space, we will not allow more parking passes than the unit allows.  Any lost or stolen parking passes will be reissued at the vehicle owner's expense. Boats, trailers, personal watercraft, motorcycles, and motor homes are not permitted on the property. 

 

Smoking

All units have been designated Non-Smoking. Smoking is allowed only outside of your vacation rental (balconies, patios. Property doors and windows must remain shut.). Smoking is NOT allowed in common areas such as around the pools, fitness center, hot tubs, etc. Violators will be evicted and will pay for any damages and related cleaning costs.

 

Furnishings

All our rental units are privately owned and decorated to the owner’s personal taste. You may view photos of our properties at www.martinique-gulf.com. In all our properties you will be provided:

 

Bed Linens, Blankets and Pillows, Bath Towels

Essential kitchen items (not including condiments or spices)

Start-up supply of soap, bathroom tissue, facial tissue, and cleaning samples for the kitchen and laundry. Please note that this is only a start-up kit, you will need to replenish on your own during your vacation.

 

Departure Responsibilities

Leave property reasonably clean and in reasonable order. (Note: Additional cleaning charges may apply) Leave kitchen items (dishes, cookware, etc.) clean or dishwasher running.

Dispose of all trash in proper outside containers. Lock all doors and windows.

Leave all beds unmade and linens in the bathtub.

 

Properties for Sale

Please be advised that some of our rental properties are for sale. We will do our best to avoid an intrusion upon your vacation. However, if the need arises to show a property during your stay, an appointment will be scheduled with you ahead of time.

 

Pets

We love pets too, but they are not allowed in most of our properties. A list of the properties that accept pets can be obtained from the on-site reservation staff. A pet, or any evidence of a pet found on the premises of any property that does not specifically accept pets is cause for eviction and forfeiture of rent. If staying in a pet friendly home and bringing a pet, there is a $300 pet deposit with $150 of that being refundable if no issues or damages occur. Maximum of 2 pets per home at any 1 time.

 

Cancellation Policy – Daily and Weekly Rentals

ANY cancellation on or before the thirtieth (30) day prior to the agreed upon check-in date shall result in forfeiture of the Reservation Fee.

 

ANY cancellation after the thirtieth (30) day prior to the agreed upon check-in date shall result in forfeiture of the advance payment.

 

Please keep in mind that travel insurance is available and may be added to the reservation at any time prior to your making the final payment on the reservation. Cancellation Policy – Monthly Rentals

ANY cancellation on or before 90 days prior to the agreed upon check-in date shall result in the forfeiture of the Reservation Fee.

 

ANY cancellation made 89 to 60 days prior to the agreed upon check-in date shall result in forfeiture of the

$500/$700/$1,000 damage deposit.

 

ANY cancellation made within 59 days prior to the agreed upon check-in date shall result in forfeiture of the 1st month’s rent.

We want your stay at Martinique on the Gulf to be fun and relaxing, so we make every effort to maintain our properties in the best possible condition. We will handle any necessary repairs during your stay as quickly as possible. Our Maintenance personnel are available after hours should an emergency arise.

The beauty of vacationing at Martinique is that no matter which accommodations you choose within the community, you have no major road to cross to access the beautiful Gulf of Mexico or fabulous resort amenities. It's all only a short stroll through beautifully landscaped grounds.

 

Condos

Fronts directly on the Gulf of Mexico. All units with Gulf views.

 

Crescent Homes

Condos are between these single-family homes and the Gulf, but only a short stroll to the beach by sidewalk. Homes

have angled or partial views of the Gulf from second-story porches.

Condos and Crescent Homes are between these single-family homes and the Gulf, but only a short stroll to the beach by sidewalk. Some homes have angled or partial views of the Gulf from third-story crow’s nest.
