Mardi Gras Parade

The 46th Annual Mardi Gras Parade will take place on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at 10 a.m. in Gulf Shores, AL. This lively tradition traces its origins back to 1978 when a group of local residents, known as the Pleasure Island Players, decided to bring a parade to the area. The following year, the Mystic Order of Shiners joined, forming the oldest parading group in Baldwin County.

The parade will kick off at the intersection of Highway 59 and East Beach Boulevard (Highway 182), making its way along East Beach Boulevard before concluding at Gulf State Park Pier Road. It promises to be a festive event that continues to celebrate the vibrant spirit of Mardi Gras in Gulf Shores.
